5th & 6th Grade
Most Improved Player

The Most Improved Player of the Year Award was established to honor those players that improved the most throughout the entire season. For instance, a player that may have barely made the team ends up being the star receiver or a player that coaches did not give much of a chance in the pre-season ends up being one of the leading tacklers on defense. This player may not be the MVP but his improvement contributed greatly to the team's success.

  [#68 John Felten]
2004 Most Improved Player

#68 John Felten
6th Grader - Defensive Tackle

8 Tackles (5 Solo & 6 Assists)
1 Fumble Recovery

Stats can't do John justice for the improvement he made during the 2004 season. At the beginning of the season, Offensive Line Coach Jim Turney gave John an ultimatenum to either shape up or ship out. John had been a class clown up till this year and was a bother to coaches and players alike. However, after being given his last warning, John shaped up and ended up not only contributing but being a defensive starter. John's improvement as both a football player and a young man are a testament to why youth football is an important part of growing up.

  [#75 AJ Brown]

#75 AJ Brown
