7th & 8th Grade
Iron Man Award

The Iron Man Award is given to the 7th & 8th Grade player who the coaching staff feels was the hardest working player on the team. This award was created to honor the fullback that may not lead the team in rushing yards but without his lead blocking the tailback could not gain any yards at all. Or the defensive lineman that gets double teamed each play freeing up someone else to make the tackle. Stats are definitely not an issue for this award. This award is given to the player who is the hardest working and displays the most heart.

  [#20 Gage Harrison]
2006 Iron Man Award

#20 Gage Harrison
8th Grader - Tailback/Quarterback & Corner
1-Year Wolverine (Started as a 8th Grader)

Gage started the year by breaking his arm at practice... however he did not miss one practice and continued to come out and do drills and get better. Eventually he would heal up and ended up becoming the starting Tailback by the end of the season and played both Quarterback and Tailback in the playoffs where he led the team to victory against the Jets in the first round with a big time touchdown run while playing Quarterback.

  [#67 Caleb Brammer]
2005 Iron Man Award

#67 Caleb Brammer
7th Grader - Center & Nose Guard
3-Year Wolverine (Started as a 6th Grader)

One of the few 7th Graders to ever win a specialty award, Caleb started at Center and was a starter on Defense, however his stats are not why he won this award. Caleb's downfield blocking and hustle on both offense and defense made him a valuable asset on both sides of the ball and an inspiration to his fellow teammates.

  [#68 Joey Bishop]
2004 Iron Man Award

#68 Joey Bishop
8th Grader - Center & Nose Guard
Team Captain

25 Tackles (11 Solo & 28 Assists)
1 Sack
Joey played both Nose Guard and Middle Linebacker. His toughness was a plus on the defensive side of the ball and again was a spark to the defense as he was not all about fame but just playing football.

On offense, Joey started every game at either Center or Guard and was the leader of the offensive line. When an injury occurred to the offensive line, Joey would move from Center to Guard where he did not miss a step. His aggressive attitude made him a fierce competitor on the field.
