  [#9 Joey Cardiff]
2006 Outstanding Lineman of the Year

#9 Joey Cardiff
8th Grader - Tight END & Defensive END

7-year Missouri Wolverine (started playing as a 2nd Grader)
Only 3rd Player since 1999 to win a 7th & 8th Grade specialty award as both a 7th Grader and 8th Grader.
2004 - 5th & 6th Grade Offensive Player of the Year
2005 - 7th & 8th Grade Most Improved Player

DEFENSE
Started as both a 7th Grader and as an 8th Grader.
2005 - 2.5 Tackles (2 Solo & 1 Assists) with 1 Sack
**During the 2005 Division II Championship Game, Joey had a sack and several pressures on the quarterback, two of which led to interceptions for the Wolverines.
2006 - 15.5 Tackles (11 Solo & 9 Assists) with 3.5 Sacks

OFFENSE
Joey played mostly on the B-Team his 7th Grader year but as an 8th Grader he was the go to guy on the offesnive side of the ball. He started every game at Tight END as an 8th Grader. Joey's 8 Touchdown Receptions in 2006 tied him for the All-Time Single Season Record, a record which was originally set in 2001.
2006 - Caught 10 passes for 265 yards with 8 TDs

  [#72 AJ Brown]
2005 Outstanding Lineman of the Year

#72 AJ Brown
8th Grader - Center & Defensive Tackle

5-year Missouri Wolverine (started playing as a 4th Grader)

DEFENSE
Played Defensive Tackle throughout his career.
2005 - 12.5 Tackles (4 Solo & 17 Assists) with 1 Sack

OFFENSE
On offense, AJ started every game somewhere on the offensive line. He played Center the majority of the time however was also a Guard and did play Tackle.

  [#70 Jim Fichter]
2004 Outstanding Lineman of the Year

#70 Jim Fichter
8th Grader - Left Guard & Defensive Tackle
TEAM CAPTAIN

DEFENSE
16.5 Tackles (10 Solo & 6.5 Assists)
3 Sacks

OFFENSE
On offense, Jim started every game at Left Guard as an 8th Grader and also started as a 7th Grader. As a 7th Grader, a timid yet "BIG" Jim was able to get the job done, however as an 8th Grader a dominant and physical "BIG" Jim overpowered most of his opponents. If you get the chance to watch the 2004 Highlight Films, watch #70 block and more importantly watch him get down field and block. Jim was one of best lineman to ever play for the Missouri Wolverines and is a big part of the rushing success the Wolverines had in 2004.

  [#60 Max Copeland]
2003 Outstanding Lineman of the Year

#60 Max Copeland
7th Grader - Left Guard & Defensive End

10 Tackles (7 Solo & 6 Assists)
4 Tackles for Loss & 1 Sack

On offense, Max started every game at Left Guard as a 7th Grader. His ability to pull and block allowed him to be the first 7th Grader to be awarded Lineman of the Year. Head Coach Jim Tuso credits Max as being one of the best lineman to ever play 7th & 8th Grade level.

  [#50 Ryan Cheshier]
2002 Outstanding Lineman of the Year

#50 Ryan Cheshier
8th Grader - Center

Ryno was by far one of the smallest lineman on the Wolverines squad but is a testament that size does not always matter. Each game Ryno was overmatched by defenders who had size and strength on him, however he took proper angles and knew how to cut defensive lineman. He was one of the smartest lineman to ever play for Lineman Coach Joe Tuso and started the majority of the year at Center.

  [#87 Kevin Mauer]
2001 Outstanding Lineman of the Year

#87 Kevin Mauer
8th Grader - Tight End & Defensive End

25 Tackles (13 Solo & 24 Assists)
6 Tackles for Loss and 4 Sacks
2 Forced Fumbles and 1 Recovered Fumble

244 Receiving Yards and 4 TDs
