7th & 8th Grade
Outstanding Defensive Player

The Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year Award is given to the 7th & 8th Grade player who the coaching staff feels was the most crucial and important player when the Wolverines were on defense. Stats are a good indication but are not always the deciding factor in who should receive this award. Smart teams will run away from a good lineman causing a player's stats to go down but not his importance on the field or his importance to the team.
