Champions Football League
The Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Program plays will have teams competing in the Champions Football League.
The Champions Football League allows teams throughout the Kansas City Metro area both Kansas and Missouri to play cooperative and competitive football games. Each "Club" enters teams in the league to play an 8 game season. There is no postseason or playoffs, just an 8 game regular season which allows teams to compete in tournaments if they choose at the end of the season. The league offers a Division 1 "D1" and Division 2 "D2" level of competition. Each Club's Admin dictates what division their teams will participate in.
The Champions League handles the scheduling and the playing rules however each CLUB participating in the league has a CLUB ADMIN "athletic director" who oversees and governs the teams within their CLUB.
Two huge selling points of the league itself are 1) the higher weight limits allowing more kids to be able to touch the ball and unlimited weight for lineman which prohibits the need for players to move up and 2) that all the games are played on FIELD TURF within the actual High School Stadiums on regulation football fields. In order for a CLUB to have home games for their teams, they must have access to a field turf field. In order to accomplish this, each CLUB must develop a relationship with their local school district which adds to the integrity of the CLUBS themselves and strengthens the league for better and safer competition and most importantly impeccable sportsmanship.
