Tackle Football Player Fee
To play on our 8th Grade team a player needs to be 14 years old or younger as of August 1st of the current year and in the 8th Grade. We do not allow players currently attending high school to play on our team.
Our 8th Grade team DOES NOT have weight limits for ball carriers or for lineman.
The 8th Grade will compete in local and regional games and tournaments held in the preseason, regular season, and post season. The 8th Grade Team will participate in tournaments both locally and regionally which will expose our players to some of the best competition in the region. This ensures our players the chance to measure up against the type of players they will compete with on the high school level. This schedule helps teach our players the value of preparation and off-season training so when they take that step into high school it becomes second-nature to them; as many high school programs are asking athletes to train on a year-round basis. This year our 8th Grade team will play in both regular season and tournament games. Our players get the opportunity to play more games than other teams, which allows for double the progress as a player.
Our first official practice is Monday July 26, 2021. We practice 3 nights a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Monday is Advanced Position Training with Speed & Agility at our indoor facility.
Practices are at Kansas City Athlete Training Facility in Kansas City Missouri.
The Missouri Wolverines are always looking to set up games with both local and regional teams. We understand several teams have the same issues as we do finding competitive teams to play during September and October. If your team is interested in setting up a game, please contact the Missouri Wolveriens Athletic Director Jim Tuso at the Missouri Wolverines Office at 816-379-3692 or via email at [email protected]
