The Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Program offers Flag Football for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Graders in the Kansas City Missouri Metro Area. We are currently accepting players for the 2025 season. We will play approximately a 8 to 10 game season running from August through October. Practices start Tuesday August 12th and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm with games starting in late August on Saturdays.

 

 

 

Our player fees may vary from other teams as we include everything within our fees... we don't just charge a play fee then make you go buy or pay extra for your equipment or jerseys. We include league games and equipment within our player participation fees. We also do team fundraisers to help cover the costs to make everything affordable for all families. FLAG FOOTBALL SPECIFICS:

  • Unlimited Weight to play on team.
  • NO BALL CARRYING WEIGHT
  • We use a K2 or equivalent size football
  • Age: 5, 6, 7  years old and MUST BE IN KINDERGARTEN, 1st or 2nd GRADE.
  • Play on Regulation Width Size Football Fields both grass and field turf.
  • Our Player Fees include game jersey, game pants and mouthpiece.
  • Player Fee: $195.00

Missouri Wolverines Flag Football teaches youth football players the fundamentals neeeded to start their path playing football.

Teaching the game the right way starts with having the right coaches in place to work with these youth athletes.

Kansas City Athlete Training Defensive Line Football Academy Group Classes and Private 1 on 1 Lessons for youth, middle school and high school football players looking to improve and excel at any of the Dfensive Line positions including rush defensive end with fundamentals being taught at the WeTrainKC Indoor Sports Performance Training Facility in Kansas City Missouri

Both Competitive and Instructional

The Missouri Wolverines offer both competitive and instructional flag football which is based on a players age and grade.

Year End Awards Ceremony

The Missouri Wolverines celebrate each year with an annual Awards Ceremony held inside Kansas City Athlete Training with each player getting recognized and receiving an award for their hard work.

Missouri Wolverines allow our players to develop based on their skill level and offer different levels to make sure players grow and love the game of football.

Kick-Off Pep Rally

The Missouri Wolverines have an annual Kick-Off Pep Rally for the entire organization to be introduced on the game field in front of parents.

Protective Head Gear

Our Flag Blue Players all wear Soft Shell Helmets to not only protect them but to help get them ready for tackle football by wearing a helmet.

The Kansas City Youth Football Camp Staff is proud to announce the 24th Year of our annual Youth Football Camp. The 2025 Kansas City Youth Football Camp focusing on the techniques and fundamentals needed to succeed at the youth level and to help players prepare for the 2025 football season. Aside from learning the game of football, camp staff will talk to the players each night about football, life, and why playing youth football is important.

Off-Season Football Training
At Kansas City Athlete Training located in Kansas City Missouri, experienced as well as beginner youth football players can work on improving during the offseason by attending one or several Football Specific Training Classes part of our Football Academy to improve their techniques as well as get in shape by attending Speed and Agility Sports Performance Training including Middle School Weightlifting. The Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Program highly recommends all current, new and/or interested football players looking to join the Missouri Wolverines Youth Football Program to attend classes leading up to the fall season. Kansas City Athlete Training has provided training for all sports via speed and agility classes and weightlifting classes plus football training for every position on the field including 1-on-1 personal training since 2005.

Missouri Wolverines Cheer program provides a positive learning environment, which encourages self-motivation, hard work, respect and teamwork. We strive to create confident athletes both on and off the sidelines by giving the cheerleaders the opportunity to learn and practice persistence, responsibility and dedication. Our main objective is to establish cheerleading technique and skills at an age-appropriate level, create community, and build confidence in every one of our athletes.
